The West Florida Division Medical Group continues to grow rapidly to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Over the last six years, we’ve nearly tripled in size with a projection to grow to 835 providers by the end of 2025. With the addition of AdventHealth Port Charlotte, we span a broad geography in eight counties, with practices in Charlotte, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties as well as five Care Pavilions. Our providers represent 40 specialties and we care for one million patients annually. Using leading edge technology, innovation, and compassion, we deliver our brand of whole-person care.

Job Description

AdventHealth Port Charlotte is recruiting Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join an expanding, collaborative anesthesia department in Port Charlotte, Florida. This role is well suited to physicians who value a collegial team environment and want to help shape a growing program during an exciting period of service expansion.

Join a cohesive anesthesia care team of five attending physicians supported by experienced full‑time and per‑diem CRNAs.
Participate in a hybrid practice model combining medical direction and supervision.
Be part of a hospital transitioning to AdventHealth with active service growth and recruitment across specialties, creating strong opportunities for program development and leadership (Medical Directorships available).
Case mix includes general, orthopedic, vascular, urology and obstetrics (no cardiac or pediatric cases).

Work options and schedule

Flexible FTE: full‑time and part‑time options available.
Typical full‑time schedule: 26 days on / 26 days off.

Compensation and benefits

Competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with FTE.
Full‑time package highlights: $50,000 sign‑on bonus, $6,000 CME/licensure allowance, 401(a) & 403(b) match, eligibility for Public Student Loan Forgiveness, relocation assistance, and other comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Anesthesiology.
Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).
Strong commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and high‑quality patient care.
