Join a surgical team in Gardner, MA as a contract Registered Nurse (Operating Room). This ASAP 40-hour/week assignment offers $2,280 per week and is ideal for an RN with perioperative experience who thrives in fast-paced surgical settings.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Perioperative/OR nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and clear communication.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare patients, instruments, and the OR environment to meet surgical and sterile-field standards.
• Serve as circulating or scrub nurse, supporting the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications as appropriate, and maintain strict sterile technique.
• Accurately document intraoperative care and ensure adherence to protocols and safety guidelines.
• Provide pre- and post-operative education and support to patients and families.
