Travel Registered Nurse (RN) — Cardiac/Telemetry (Cleveland, OH)

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Ohio (or compact license valid in OH)
• 1–2+ years acute care experience in Telemetry, Stepdown, or Cardiac units
• Current BLS and ACLS
• Strong ECG interpretation skills; able to identify life‑threatening arrhythmias
• Proficient in continuous telemetry monitoring, IV management, and cardiac medications
• Experience with electronic medical records; willing to complete facility‑specific training

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly recognize arrhythmias or changes in cardiac status
• Perform comprehensive head‑to‑toe assessments with focused cardiac and respiratory evaluations
• Administer medications, manage IV infusions, and titrate cardiac medications per protocol
• Respond to cardiac emergencies; assist with cardioversion and code responses as needed
• Provide patient and family education on cardiac conditions, procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the EMR
• Manage multiple acute patients while maintaining safe, effective care
• Support post‑procedural cardiac patients (e.g., post‑catheterization, device placement, heart failure exacerbations)
