Join a busy outpatient Family Medicine locum in McKinleyville, CA supporting a long-term vacancy with ASAP start and ongoing coverage. Clinical-only schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided by the agency.

Scope of practice and patient mix

• Comprehensive primary care for a mixed pediatric and adult panel (family/internal medicine).
• Average daily volume ~18 patients.
• Typical encounters: well woman care, IUD insertion/removal, newborn to adolescent care, and general outpatient medicine.

Facility and workflow

• EMR: Epic.
• Support: 1 RN and 2 MAs.
• No hospital privileges required; temporary privileges not available.
• Credentialing timeline: 30–90 days.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
• California medical license required.
• Active DEA registration.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with EMR and ability to close charts within 72 hours.
