Assignment: Locum Tenens — ASAP to ongoing (vacancy coverage while permanent hire recruited)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Patient & Clinical Volume

• Patient mix: Pediatrics and adults
• Average daily volume: ~18 patients/day
• Case mix: Primary care / family medicine

Facility & Support

• EMR: Epic
• Support staff: 1 RN, 2 MAs
• Hospital privileges: Not required; temporary privileges not available
• Credentialing timeline: 30–90 days

Requirements

• Board certification required (BC)
• Active CA license
• Active DEA
• NPs: Furnishing License including Schedule II authority
• PAs: CA Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar panel management setting preferred
• Chart closure: within 72 hours
• Immunizations: Proof of Flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap prior to start

Key Duties

• Provide full-scope primary care for pediatric and adult patients
• Manage daily patient panel (~18/day) and ongoing panel care
• Document accurately and close charts within 72 hours
• Coordinate care with RNs and MAs to maintain clinic flow
• Complete all credentialing and immunization requirements before start date
