LPN/LVN - Long Term Care (Laconia, NH) | 9-Week Contract, High Pay $1,062/36hrs

Join a healthcare team in Laconia, NH on a 9-week contract (non-travel), starting ASAP. Schedule: 06:45 AM–07:15 PM. Local rate: $1,062 / 36 hours.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
• BLS certification

Overview:
Provide direct bedside nursing care under RN or physician supervision, delivering safe, patient-centered services across a range of clinical needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments (vital signs, focused physical exams, medical history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, following orders and facility protocols.
• Perform wound care: assess, clean, dress, and monitor for complications or infection.
• Insert, manage, and monitor IV lines and IV medications/fluids as indicated.
• Care for patients with urinary catheters (insertion, maintenance, monitoring).
• Collect and prepare specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and medication administration.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care to support recovery and wellness.
• Promote infection control and safety through appropriate hand hygiene, PPE use, and safe medication/supply handling.
• Assist with patient comfort and mobility, pain management, and basic nursing procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support as needed.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and support staff to coordinate care.
• May supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
• Participate in continuing education and follow current nursing best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
