Schedule: Daily, 07:00 AM–03:30 PM
Rate: $1,472 per 40 hours

Requirements:

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
  • BLS certification

Scope of Work / Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction: administer medications, perform wound care, monitor vital signs.
  • Conduct patient assessments (physical exam, medical history, medication review) and participate in individualized care planning.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and per protocol.
  • Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection/complications.
  • Monitor and document vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations) and changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate patient records of assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self-care, and preventive measures.
  • Administer and monitor IV medications/fluids; ensure proper IV line insertion and function.
  • Provide catheter care (insertion, maintenance, monitoring).
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care.
  • Address patient comfort, mobility assistance, positioning, and pain management.
  • Respond to medical emergencies following protocol; provide basic life support as needed.
  • Follow infection control practices and PPE protocols.
  • Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies per regulations.
  • Promote preventive care (vaccinations, screenings) and participate in health assessments.
  • Advocate for patient rights and appropriate care.
  • Supervise CNAs/UAPs when required.
  • Maintain current nursing knowledge through continuing education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
