Schedule: 11:00 PM–07:30 AM, Sun–Sat
Rate: Local: $1,267/32-hours

Minimum requirements:

  • Valid, active LPN license for the state of practice
  • BLS certification

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction (medication administration, wound care, vital signs).
  • Perform patient assessments (physical exam, medical history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and per protocol; document administration.
  • Assess, clean, dress, and monitor wounds/incisions for infection or complications.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration) and report changes.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records (condition changes, treatments, medications).
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self-care, and preventive measures.
  • Administer and monitor IV medications/fluids; ensure IV line integrity.
  • Provide catheter care (insertion as indicated, maintenance, monitoring).
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care.
  • Address patient comfort and safety needs (positioning, mobility assistance, pain management).
  • Respond to medical emergencies per protocol and provide basic life support as needed.
  • Follow infection control practices, including hand hygiene and PPE use.
  • Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies according to regulations.
  • Advocate for patient rights and needs within the care team.
  • Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
  • Participate in required continuing education and training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
