Join a contract travel team in Meeker, CO, providing day-shift perioperative and PACU care for orthopedic patients. Assignment begins ASAP; 36-hour schedule with pay at $2,308 per 36 hours.

What you’ll bring

• Active RN license for practice in the state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Perioperative or PACU nursing experience preferred, with familiarity in orthopedic surgical care
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and clear communication
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Core responsibilities

• Perform thorough preoperative assessments and prepare orthopedic patients for surgery
• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery, including vital signs, pain control, and airway status
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and institutional protocols
• Maintain timely, accurate patient documentation and medical records
• Provide patient and family education on postoperative care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies
