Key qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Perioperative or OR nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred.

Primary responsibilities:

• Prepare patients, instruments, and the OR environment to ensure safe, efficient procedures.
• Serve as circulating or scrub nurse during surgeries, supporting the surgical team and maintaining sterile technique.
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications as ordered, and respond to intraoperative changes.
• Accurately document surgical care and follow institutional protocols and safety standards.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding pre- and post-operative care.
