Overview:
Seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care in Rutland for a 14-week assignment beginning May 11, 2026. This role requires strong clinical skills, reliable transportation, and a regular weekend commitment.
Required Qualifications:
- Current, active LPN state license.
- BLS certification.
- State or federally issued photo ID (registry staff must present at the facility and wear a photo badge at all times).
- Agency staff must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 per employer policy or provide a documented medical or religious exemption; additional doses required where mandated by law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision.
- Conduct patient assessments and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Manage wound care: clean, dress, evaluate, and monitor for infection/complications.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate, thorough patient records and provide patient/family education on diagnoses and self-care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols.
Additional Requirements / Notes:
- Every-weekend commitment required.
- All RTO requests must be approved prior to contract finalization.
- Must have reliable personal transportation; local public transit is limited and unreliable.
- No overtime available.
