Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — 12-Week Night Position (Local) — Marlinton, WV

Schedule: 36 hours per week (local or travel options available)
Rates:

• Local PPW: $1,080 / 36 hrs (equivalent to $30/hr)
• Travel PPW: $1,116 / 36 hrs (equivalent to $31/hr)

Position overview:
Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to patients under RN or physician supervision. This role emphasizes accurate assessment, medication administration, wound care, documentation, patient and family education, and prompt response to emergencies while following infection-control protocols.

Core responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and on schedule.
• Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection and complications.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care instructions.
• Respond quickly and appropriately during medical emergencies and follow established infection control procedures.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Registry personnel must present state or federally issued photo ID at the facility and wear a photo badge at all times.
• Agency staff must have completed the initial or updated COVID-19 vaccine or provide documented medical or religious exemption approved by their employer; additional doses must be obtained where required by law.
