Join a 14-week contract/travel assignment in Claremont, NH (start ASAP) as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Schedule: 08:00 AM–04:30 PM. Compensation: Travel rate $1,754/35 hrs; Local rate $1,726/35 hrs.
Requirements:
- Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical assessment and diagnostic testing.
- Determine diagnoses and severity levels; formulate individualized, goal-driven treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and dysphagia.
- Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
- Train patients and caregivers in strategies, exercises, and safe swallowing techniques.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as clinical needs change.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to deliver coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Facilitate carryover of communication skills to home, school, and work environments.
- Participate in professional development to stay current in the field.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
