Join a 14-week contract in Pleasant Hill, CA, starting ASAP. Full schedule: Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel: $1,505/35 hrs; Local: $1,484/35 hrs.

Requirements:

• Current, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.

Role overview:
Support the Occupational Therapist in evaluating and treating patients to improve motor skills, mobility, and independence. Deliver patient-centered care, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed with the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide interventions and therapeutic activities to enhance daily living skills and mobility.
• Instruct patients and families in proper use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Document progress, treatments, and changes in condition accurately and promptly.
• Teach and reinforce home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
• Coordinate closely with the Occupational Therapist and healthcare team for continuity of care.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe therapy environment.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to help patients reach therapeutic goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
