Schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Rate: Travel $1,505 / 35 hrs; Local $1,484 / 35 hrs

Requirements:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations
• Collaborate on developing individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapy interventions to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living
• Instruct patients in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Document treatment, progress, and changes in patient condition accurately and timely
• Train patients and families on home exercise programs and carryover strategies
• Communicate regularly with the OT and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures to maintain a safe therapy environment
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients working toward therapeutic goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
