Rate: Travel $2,648/40 hrs; Local $2,608/40 hrs

Required qualifications

• Active, valid Physical Therapy state license.
• CPR and BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (including AED).

Primary responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to determine patient needs.
• Develop and document individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and mobility.
• Provide manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, stretching) to reduce pain and improve function.
• Apply modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as indicated for pain control and tissue healing.
• Instruct and fit patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and train for safe use.
• Create and teach home exercise programs and provide patient/family education on condition, treatment, prevention, ergonomics, and body mechanics.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress; complete accurate assessments, progress notes, and treatment records.
• Collaborate and communicate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other care team members to coordinate care.
• Implement pain management strategies integrating exercises, modalities, and manual techniques.
• Support patients in regaining independence post-surgery, injury, or illness.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and adhere to legal/ethical standards and culturally sensitive care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
