Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — 11-Week Contract in Fairmont, WV

We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a short-term contract in Fairmont, WV. This position starts June 1, 2026, runs for 11 weeks, and follows a Monday/Wednesday/Thursday schedule. Compensation is Local PPW $1,080 for 36 hours (equivalent to $30/hour).

What you’ll need

• Current, active LPN license for the state.
• BLS certification.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Manage wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor wounds for signs of infection or other complications.
• Continuously monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient condition.
• Keep accurate, timely patient documentation and communicate care plans to the care team.
• Teach patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and safe self-care practices.
• Respond quickly and effectively in emergencies and follow infection control protocols.
