Join a community-focused hospital in Newport, VT as a contract Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night-shift assignment beginning Aug 3, 2026. This role offers a competitive travel rate of $2,592 for a 36-hour workweek. One position is available.
What you’ll do:
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care, managing admissions, labor progress, delivery, postpartum care, and patient education.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, neonatology, and support staff to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.
- Accept assignments to float to other units and support overflow from the Progressive Care Unit as needed.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, preferably with substantial labor & delivery background.
- Ability and flexibility to float to different units and manage PCU overflow.
