Locums-to-Perm Spanish-Speaking Geriatric/Family or Internal Medicine Physician — Bronx, NY

Join a warm, well-established outpatient practice in The Bronx that focuses on caring for older adults. We’re looking for a compassionate, board-certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics physician for a locums-to-perm opportunity (transition expected within 3–6 months). This full-time role follows a predictable weekday schedule with no inpatient duties and emphasizes collaborative, value-based, patient-centered care.

What the role offers:

• Competitive pay: $150 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient only (no inpatient responsibilities)
• Care model: Value-based, team-oriented approach
• Patient population: Primarily geriatric patients, with some expansion to adult internal medicine (18+)
• Patient volume: Manageable census of about 7–10 patients per day
• Language: Spanish-speaking clinicians preferred
• Timeline: Temporary to permanent conversion within 3–6 months
• Onboarding: Expedited credentialing available

What we’re looking for:

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Medicare and Medicaid provider IDs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
