Remote Locums Tele-Neurologist (Board-Certified/Eligible) - Flexible FT/PT, Stroke Expertise

We’re looking for Board-Certified or Board-Eligible neurologists to join a fully remote locum tele-neurology team supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This is a great opportunity for physicians who want flexible, supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice. You’ll provide real-time neurologic consultations for acute and inpatient cases — including stroke alerts — using a secure, enterprise-level telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Primary responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultations for emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke alerts and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time and communicate findings clearly
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document encounters promptly and accurately in the electronic medical record

Qualifications we’re looking for

• MD or DO degree
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Comfort managing acute neurologic cases remotely; stroke experience preferred
• Vascular neurology fellowship is a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred
• Licenses in hand are preferred; high-need states include FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, and CA
• Willingness to work within a telemedicine platform and coordinate care with on-site teams
