Minimum Requirements
- Active, valid LPN license for the state of New Mexico
- BLS certification
Core Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement care plans
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
- Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection/complications
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate findings to the care team
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care
- Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection-control policies
