Overview:
Provide expert perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR environment. You will be responsible and accountable for delivering compassionate, individualized care to patients and families while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes, safety, and patient satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a valid compact-state license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (operating room experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for surgical patients and their families with professionalism and compassion.
• Coordinate daily patient flow in the OR to maximize safety, efficiency, and satisfaction.
• Triage incoming requests for services and manage high call volume related to medications, information, and assistance.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures while adhering to patient safety protocols.
• Deliver patient and family education to support the plan of care and informed healthcare choices.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and in accordance with Colorado statute.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills; work independently with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate care with physician practices, Vail Health, and other providers to ensure continuity and quality of care.
