Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — 16-Week Contract, Elkins, WV

We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a healthcare team in Elkins, WV for a 16-week, local contract. This is a night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) starting June 8, 2026, with a rate of $782 per 24-hour shift.

What you’ll do:

• Provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage wounds—cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for signs of infection or other complications.
• Continuously monitor and record vital signs, updating patient records accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care needs.
• Respond quickly and effectively in medical emergencies and follow established infection control practices.

What we need from you:

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license.
• Current BLS certification.

Schedule and logistics:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start date: June 8, 2026
• Location: Elkins, West Virginia
