Contract/Non-Travel Licensed Practical Nurse position in St. Albans, VT

• Start date: July 1, 2026
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rate: $876 per 40-hour week (local)

Minimum requirements

• Valid, active LPN license for the state of Vermont
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Core responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction
• Perform patient assessments and carry out prescribed medications and treatments
• Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection and complications
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate with the care team
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care as appropriate
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow standard infection control practices
