Night RN Obstetrics & Gynecology (13-week Travel) in Machias, ME — AC/Neonatal Certified, Competitive Contract

Join a small, close-knit team in Machias, ME for a 13-week night shift contract starting July 6, 2026. You’ll care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients, working independently while collaborating with the charge nurse, physicians, and other departments to deliver safe, patient-focused care.

What you’ll do

• Provide holistic, individualized nursing care using the nursing process for patients commonly seen on the OB unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate assigned patient care, demonstrating clinical competency, sound nursing judgment, and effective teaching.
• Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills independently and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
• Uphold hospital policies (confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, ADA) and maintain a high degree of professionalism.
• Support quality improvement efforts and the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Who we’re looking for

• Registered Nurse, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience (at least 1 year of acute care experience required).
• Successful completion of general nursing and unit orientation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification.
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate.
