Join a healthcare team in Parkersburg, WV for a 5-week, contract (non-travel) assignment beginning June 16, 2026. Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Compensation: Local rate $842/36-hours.
Requirements:
- Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license.
- Current BLS certification.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Manage wound care: evaluate, cleanse, dress, and monitor for infection or complications.
- Continuously monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient status.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols.
