Locum Interventional Cardiologist — 24‑Hour Call, Roseburg OR (July–Sept 2026)

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board‑Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Roseburg, Oregon. This role is 24‑hour call coverage with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including interventional procedures, STEMI response, diagnostic catheterizations, and clinic consultations.

Position details

• Shift: 24‑hour call coverage
• Patient population: Adults (18+)

Coverage dates

• July 9–12, 2026 (possible extension through July 13–14)
• August 10–17, 2026
• Additional September dates to be determined

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide 24‑hour interventional cardiology call coverage
• Evaluate and manage inpatient and outpatient cardiology consults
• Perform coronary angiograms, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, and PCI (including emergent/stemi cases)
• Manage right and left heart catheterizations
• Interpret echocardiograms and stress tests
• Collaborate with hospitalists, emergency physicians, and cardiovascular teams to coordinate care
• Document encounters promptly and accurately in the facility electronic medical record

Typical volumes

• Average ~5 consults per day while on general call
• Approximately 2–6 coronary angiograms per day across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Clinic: 14–16 patients per day, 30‑minute appointment slots

Required procedures

• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
• Right and left heart catheterizations
• STEMI intervention and coverage
• Echocardiogram and stress test interpretation

Qualifications

• Board‑Certified or truly Board‑Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship
• Active Oregon medical license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active DEA registration
