Join a 13-week contract nursing opportunity in Hilo, HI beginning July 27, 2026. This rotating-shift assignment supports long-term care patients and requires at least one year of RN experience. Candidates who do not already hold an active Hawaii nursing license must apply upon acceptance and must have the Hawaii license in hand by the assignment start date.
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and ongoing evaluations
- Implement treatments and administer medications safely and accurately
- Communicate pertinent clinical information to MDs/NPs and coordinate care
- Admit and discharge residents; document transitions of care
- Provide ADL assistance and basic nursing care
- Perform specialized procedures including gastrostomy and tracheostomy care, urinary catheter management, nebulized treatments, CPAP support, wound VAC care, and other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Active Hawaii RN license required by the start date (applicants without a current HI license must apply immediately upon offer acceptance)
