Job Description

Job ID: Not provided

We’re looking for an experienced RN to join a Med-Surg/Respiratory team in Zanesville, OH for a 13-week contract starting July 20, 2026. This is a night-shift position (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.), 36 hours per week with every-other-weekend coverage. No on-call required. Pay is $2,052 for 36 hours.

What you’ll be doing

  • Primarily staffed on the Respiratory unit (this is where COVID patients are cared for), with occasional float assignments across Med-Surg areas such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.
  • Provide bedside nursing, telemetry monitoring, and stepdown-level care as needed.
  • Demonstrate competency on day one for telemetry interpretation and Epic EMR use.

What we need from you

  • Active Ohio RN license and current BLS.
  • Minimum of 3 years recent/current Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience; you must be able to read telemetry—competency will be tested on day one and failure will result in termination.
  • Current Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory; there are no refresher classes or 1:1 sit-downs available—Epic skills will be verified and inability to use Epic will result in termination.
  • At least 3+ years of nursing experience overall.

If you meet the requirements and are comfortable working nights on a respiratory-focused Med-Surg unit, this could be a great fit.
