Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Active Wisconsin license issued by the Psychology Examining Board.
• Familiarity with DSM diagnostic criteria, evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, and correctional mental health practices.
• Strong clinical communication, documentation, and collaborative teamwork skills.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychological assessments, testing, and risk evaluations.
• Deliver mental health treatment, ongoing monitoring, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Assess and determine placement or removal from observation or restraint status.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and prepare required reports.
• Coordinate care with DOC staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of services.
