Required qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
- BLS certification
Core responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs continuously
- Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection/complications
- Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care instructions
- Follow infection control protocols and respond promptly in medical emergencies
Working conditions
- 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday
