Medical-Surgical RN (Nights) 13-Week Travel Contract, Herrin, IL

We’re looking for an experienced Medical-Surgical RN to join a contract travel team in Herrin, IL. This is a 13-week night-shift assignment starting July 13, 2026, at a pay rate of $1,926 per 36 hours. You’ll work primarily on med-surg but should be comfortable floating to other clinically appropriate units as needed.

What you’ll need

• Active RN licensure and at least 2 years of recent med-surg experience
• Availability to work every other weekend
• Willingness to float to other med-surg departments and related units within your scope, licensure, and demonstrated competencies

Required certifications (by facility)

• Herrin Hospital PCU: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
• Herrin Hospital Acute Rehab: BLS, NIHSS
• Herrin Hospital Medical: BLS, NIHSS
• Memorial Hospital of Carbondale Medical: BLS, NIHSS
• Memorial Hospital of Carbondale PCU: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
• Memorial Hospital of Carbondale Step-Down ICU: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
• Memorial Hospital of Carbondale ICU: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (CSU-ALS preferred)
• St. Joseph Memorial Hospital Med/Surg: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
