Requirements:

• Current, active state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and implement prescribed interventions and exercise programs.
• Administer therapeutic modalities and operate rehabilitation equipment safely and effectively.
• Instruct patients in exercises; educate patients and families on home programs to support recovery.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely in medical records.
• Communicate and collaborate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and plan of care.
• Follow safety, infection control, and facility policies and procedures.
