Join a busy inpatient cardiology team in Galloway, NJ, providing non-invasive cardiac care and consultations for adult and geriatric patients. This locum tenens role begins July 1, 2026 and continues on an ongoing basis. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with 24-hour call coverage on a 2:4 weekend rotation. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver non-invasive cardiology services, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, EKG interpretation, and treadmill stress testing.
• Interpret diagnostic studies and offer clear clinical recommendations.
• Manage inpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care for adults and older adults.
• Work closely with a team of 24 cardiologists and multidisciplinary support staff to coordinate patient care.

• Adult/geriatric population
• Average volume: about 20 patients per day
• Typical case mix: cardiac diagnostics and non-invasive cardiology

Credentials and requirements

• Board certified in Cardiology and fellowship trained
• Active NJ medical license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Credentialing expected to take 30–60 days

Procedures you should be comfortable performing

• Transthoracic echocardiography
• Transesophageal echocardiography
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Treadmill stress testing
