Locums Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Glendale, AZ (Level II Trauma)

This locum opportunity supports a Level II Trauma Center and pairs you with an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a collaborative, well-resourced setting. The practice offers a balanced mix of operative and non-operative trauma care with a strong emphasis on quality outcomes and multidisciplinary coordination.

Schedule

• 183 twelve-hour shifts annually (24-hour shifts)
• Blocked scheduling in 7-day rotations
• Built-in recovery time between assignments

Key responsibilities

• Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in trauma call coverage and manage a wide range of fractures and orthopedic injuries
• Coordinate care with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalists, and rehabilitation teams
• Balance surgical caseload, inpatient management, and follow-up clinic responsibilities
• Maintain timely documentation and uphold high standards of patient care

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship completion preferred
• Experience managing orthopedic trauma in a hospital-based setting
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure and able to obtain/maintain hospital privileges
