Join a Rutland, Vermont team as a contract Licensed Practical Nurse for a 15-week assignment starting June 29, 2026. This is a local, non-travel role with a PM shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). Compensation is $1,132 per 40-hour week.

What you’ll be expected to do

  • Provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs or physicians.
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and safely administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Manage wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor wounds for signs of infection or other complications.
  • Continuously check and document vital signs and changes in patient condition.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate care plans clearly.
  • Teach patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and self-care as appropriate.
  • Act promptly during medical emergencies and follow established infection control policies.

What we need from you

  • Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse state license.
  • Current BLS certification.
