Required license:
- Valid, active California Occupational Therapy Assistant state license
Core responsibilities:
- Assist Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations
- Implement therapeutic interventions and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living
- Instruct patients in the safe and effective use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation including progress notes, treatments, and changes in condition
- Follow safety and infection-control procedures to maintain a safe therapy environment
