Lead Urgent Care NP/PA – Clinical Lead in Bangor, ME | $80–$85/hr, Mentorship & Benefits

We are hiring a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as Lead Provider in Bangor, ME. This is an excellent leadership role for an experienced APP who is committed to high-quality, patient-centered urgent care and enjoys mentoring clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.

As the site’s clinical leader, you will ensure consistent clinical excellence, support new graduate providers, and cultivate a collaborative culture focused on safety, efficiency, and strong patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care for patients of all ages.
• Serve as the clinical lead for on-site clinical staff.
• Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and allied health professionals.
• Promote evidence-based care and maintain high clinical standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Certification by the appropriate NP or PA certifying body.
• Active Maine state license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Unrestricted DEA registration (must be maintained).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care strongly preferred.
• Leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus.
