Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Remote (Des Moines, IA)

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurology physicians needed for a fully remote locums tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. Provide real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, via a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Compensation and Engagement

• Rate: $210.000–$220.000 per hour
• Locums engagement; long-term assignments available
• Flexible full-time and part-time scheduling
• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultations to ED and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop treatment plans
• Document encounters in the EMR

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely

Preferred Qualifications

• Stroke experience; vascular neurology fellowship a plus
• Multi-state licensure preferred

Licensure Requirements

• Active U.S. medical license required
• Licenses in hand preferred for: FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Licensing support available for additional states as needed
