Location: Newport, VT | Start Date: July 1, 2026 | Duration: 14 weeks | Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Rate: Local: $1051/36-hours | Contract/Non-Travel

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 14-week contract in Newport, Vermont. The LPN will provide hands-on nursing care on the night shift, working under RN or physician direction to support patient comfort, safety, and recovery.

Required qualifications

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse state license
• BLS certification

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of RNs or physicians
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection or complications
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient status
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and provide education to patients and families on conditions and self-care
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection control and safety protocols

This role emphasizes clinical accuracy, clear documentation, patient education, and timely response in urgent situations.
