Join a supportive team in Hilo, Hawaii for a 13-week contract starting September 7, 2026. You’ll work day shift caring for medical-surgical patients with a focus on perioperative nursing.

What we’re looking for

• Registered Nurse with 2+ years’ experience.
• Proven proficiency with RPN III-level skills (minimum two years performing these duties).
• Strong background in pre/postoperative nursing—experience with abdominal surgeries (lap chole, appendectomy), mastectomies, thyroidectomies, chest tubes, drains, and similar postop care.
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• If you don’t already have an active Hawaii RN license, you must apply immediately upon accepting the offer and have your Hawaii license in hand by the assignment start date.

Typical responsibilities

• Provide standard RPN III nursing care and clinical tasks.
• Manage surgical pre-op and post-op patient care, monitoring and interventions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver safe, effective care.
• Be prepared to float to other units when staffing needs require it.
