Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
• BLS certification

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision
• Perform patient assessments and implement prescribed treatments and medications
• Monitor, document, and report patients’ vital signs and clinical changes
• Manage wound care: evaluate, clean, dress wounds, and monitor for infection/complications
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care
• Respond to medical emergencies and follow infection control policies
