Join Adelphi to support school-based nursing in Rockville, Maryland. You’ll provide program-level nursing support and direct care to eligible students in a designated health room or program setting. This is a weekday contract role that fits nurses who enjoy working with children, collaborating with school staff, and responding to urgent needs as they arise.

What we’re looking for:
- Active Maryland RN license
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Pediatric, school nursing, or private-duty nursing experience is preferred
What you’ll do:
- Provide first aid and emergency care for students and staff as needed
- Assess and triage health complaints, injuries, and incidents
- Administer medications and treatments per orders
- Monitor and document health conditions in MCPS health record systems
- Keep the health room clean, safe, and well-stocked
- Communicate clearly with students, parents/guardians, school staff, and health care providers
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and follow school protocols
- Perform other duties within the RN scope as assigned
