Private Duty RN School-Based Pediatric Care in Rockville, MD (Up to $45/hr)

We’re looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one private duty nursing for students with documented health needs in Rockville, Maryland. You’ll work in a school setting, supporting students who require continuous monitoring and skilled nursing care during the school day and school-sponsored activities.

What we need from you

• Active Maryland RN license
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or private duty nursing is preferred

What you’ll be doing

• Provide primary nursing care from student bus boarding through school dismissal when needed
• Stay available for the student’s health needs and accompany them as required (including field trips, extracurriculars, outdoor education, and ESY/summer programs)
• Administer medications and treatments as outlined in each student’s Plan of Care
• Perform skilled nursing tasks as ordered, which may include catheterization, tracheostomy care, suctioning, oxygen/ventilator management, enteral feedings, and diabetic pump/CGM monitoring
• Coordinate care with school staff and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
