Requirements
- Registered Nurse (BSN or ADN) with current Ohio RN license
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience; oncology experience required
- CPR certification within 30 days of employment
- Ability to read, write, calculate medication dosages, prepare medications, and monitor/analyze patient reactions
- Able to assess patient condition, communicate clearly (oral and written), and explain moderately complex information to staff
- Strong attention to detail and ability to observe, assess, guide, and collaborate with the care team
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care per physician orders
- Assess patient condition, administer prescribed medications, and deliver appropriate treatments
- Take and record measurements and clinical readings
- Monitor patients for reactions and document findings
- Provide leadership and collaborate with other caregivers on the unit
