Join a team providing outpatient primary and urgent care in Red Mesa, Arizona. This locum tenens opportunity is full-time (1.0 FTE) with a clinical focus and the potential for a long-term contract. Clinical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, caring for patients of all ages. Expect predominantly direct patient care (approximately 90%) supported by clinical staff and an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key responsibilities include patient evaluation, diagnostic testing and interpretation, clinical management, performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, pharmacotherapy, and coordinating specialty referrals. Office equipment is government-furnished for joint use. EMR and patient volume to be confirmed. Hospital privileges are required; temporary privileges are available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine–Pediatrics
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- DEA certificate and NPI
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in primary and/or urgent care
