Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) — Contract, Las Cruces, NM (14-week)

We’re looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a Las Cruces, NM team on a 14-week contract (non-travel). This position starts September 21, 2026, and follows a regular 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule. Compensation for local candidates is $1,365 per 35-hour week.

What you’ll need

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.

What you’ll be doing

• Work alongside the Occupational Therapist to assess patients and identify physical and functional limitations.
• Implement treatment plans and guide activities that improve motor skills, mobility, and independence in daily tasks.
• Teach patients how to use assistive devices and adaptive equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain clear, accurate patient documentation—tracking progress, treatments, and any changes in condition.
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures to keep the therapy space safe for everyone.
