- Service setting: Operating rooms, CT, MRI, Bronchoscopy, Neuro Angio, Interventional Radiology
- EMR: Epic
Assignment Details
- Type: Locum Tenens, Clinical Only
- Coverage period: 09/07/2026 – Ongoing
- Shift: 13-hour shifts (6:00 AM–7:30 PM or 8:00 AM–9:30 PM)
- Case volume: 3–5 adult cases/day
- Case mix: General anesthesia, Neuro & Spine, Orthopedics, Oncology, ENT, GYN, Urology
- Exclusions: No OB, no Cardiac, no block coverage
Facility & Team
- 21 operating rooms
- Trauma Level I academic center
- Support: ~42 CRNAs in medically directed practice
- Must be able to float between MUSC locations as needed
Credentials & Compliance
- Hospital privileges required; credentialing ≈ 60 days
- Active SC nursing license required or well in process
- NBCRNA certification required
- Epic proficiency required
- Must reside >60 miles from facility
Experience & Responsibilities
- Minimum 3 years CRNA experience
- Provide anesthesia care across listed specialties in a medically directed model
- Document care in Epic and collaborate with anesthesiologists and perioperative teams
