Occupational Therapist (OT) — Contract, Hayward CA (14-week, Local)

Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 14-week contract (non-travel) in Hayward, CA, starting July 20, 2026. This position follows a Tue–Sat schedule and offers a local rate of $2,282 for a 35-hour week.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of California.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

Key responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive function and environmental barriers to establish individualized goals.
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic interventions to enhance independence in daily activities.
• Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Provide patient- and family-centered education on condition management and strategies for maximizing independence.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary care team.
