Board-Certified Cardiologist — Inpatient/Outpatient ICU Role in Missoula, MT with Comprehensive Benefits

We’re seeking a full-time cardiologist to join a team in Missoula, Montana, providing both inpatient and outpatient care. This is a long-term, permanent opportunity to help cover clinical service and call as needed, with an immediate start preferred.

What your day will look like

• Care for adult and geriatric patients across clinic, hospital, and ICU settings.
• Average daily patient volume: about 9–12.
• Provide consultations, follow-ups, admissions, and rounding as needed.
• Manage non-invasive cardiology work: echocardiography (including TEE), nuclear studies (Cardiolyte, thallium), and other diagnostic testing.
• Care for cardiac ICU patients and consult on complex inpatient cases.
• Supervise and collaborate with a team of mid-level providers (approximately 8 PAs/NPs) and office staff.

Team and facility highlights

• EMR: Epic.
• Support staff includes RNs and MAs (TBD), 8 PA/NPs, and about 5 office staff.
• Hospital privileges required.
• Call is by beeper with a 20-minute response expectation.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Cardiology.
• Montana medical license required or in process.
• Experience interpreting non-invasive studies and managing ICU cardiac patients is expected.
• Procedure experience expected: echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology. Experience with cardiac ablation, permanent pacemaker placement, and ICD/AICD implantation is preferred.
